Twists & Turns: Mastering Cables Through Modular Design
Take a journey in texture and master cable knitting techniques as you knit Hana by Junko Okamoto! This sweater is designed to have an oversized fit, like your favorite sweatshirt, and features a large variety of cables which flow in different directions, thanks to the modular design. You'll be making front and back panels that involve knitting a section, picking up stitches, and then knitting off in a different direction! Along the way you'll also pick up other helpful skills for your "knitter's toolbox" including calculating desired positive ease in a garment and how to be sure you're choosing the right yarn for your project (not just weight/gauge but also fiber content and construction)!
